Rebecca Pietri revisited these images for this current exhibit with music curation by Belinda Becker. Mike Schreiber Mike Schreiber is a self–taught New York photographer with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut. His work has been featured in Esquire magazine, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Vibe, and XXL. His photos capture the essence of a cultural life with a perspective that is honest in its raw and gritty tone. His first book, “True Hip-Hop” was released in 2010 and he has had solo shows in NY, London, Paris, Atlanta, Chicago and Miami. Mike Schreiber is currently working on a new series of books set to be released later in 2018. A long time stylist for many high profile artists and performers, her clients range from corporations such as Live Nation, Sony, Universal Def Jam, NBC, MTV, and VH1 to celebrity clients: Jay Z, Kanye West and a decade long collaboration with Questlove and The Roots. She consults privately for select clients between New York City and Los Angeles. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Belinda is well known on the NYC DJ scene and has been inducted into Paper Magazine's Hall of Fame. She has spun at such NYC venues as Nell’s, La Esquina, and Spur Tree. Presently, she has monthly residencies at Jimmy at the James Hotel, the Skylark Lounge and The Lamb's Club.
